Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan Reviews

Ts was ass. The MPAA had fully ran its course so the kills suck, the characters are bland as hell, and it has so many continuity errors. 3/10 at most, such a disappointment.

6.5/10 love the vibe and setting “take your best shot motherfucker”

Jason takes Manhattan but 60% of the time is on a boat🔥

this movie is so messy and campy and i love it, one of my favorite fridays

Something funny is idc about this franchise and this movie still pissed me off on the level of disrespect this movie is so boring so miserable and so frustrating it makes me ask what IN THE FUCK WHERE THEY DOING and the kills aren’t even good the MPAA needed to chill out 1/10

Super underrated.

(Re watch)

7.5/10 ⭐️

I really appreciate the setting and unique directing style for this installment, but holy crap this was a mess lmfao. The campier aspects were great, but it’s like not ONE SINGLE PERSON behaved in a way a human would or should, it was 85% boat and 15% manhattan, that sa scene…

Ngl was not watching it. Was on my phone majority of the time until we got into the actual city of NY not the docks. That was interesting although it didn’t feel like a Friday 13th movie at that point. In a good way…….

I dont fuck with that shit

He is only in manhattan for like 5 minutes

Decide on his design for Christ’s sake

Silly and cheesy but if you are a Jason/ Friday 13th franchise fan. It’s a must see. Just don’t take it too seriously.

Somehow this is one of the worst Friday the 13th movies and one of the most enjoyable ones at the same time.

D

Jason on a boat is what it should be called. No camp crystal lake this time around. Massive lack of gore. There are a few moments of fun but it’s lacking for the most part

At least the dog lives

Im not as mad ab this movie this go around but it still sucks rlly bad 2/10

Dog propaganda
Sewer sludge

Better then the one before but still not that good
