recently rewatched the original (highly recommend you rewatch the first before this) as you see more of the similarities and jokes made from that.

this movie was actually a great sequel, usually i can’t say that but this- was epic. there was so many familiar faces and some brand new and i understood and truly enjoyed the swap. was giggling in my seat in the cinema the entire time.

lindsey and jamie’s dynamic is so heartwarming to see back on the screen.

Lots of references to the first movie. Lots of cameos. Lots of woke bits. Entertaining and good music.

they were loyal to the original but gave us more than nostalgia. In the first 20 minutes I was shaking cause it seem like it was going to be one of those new movies that are really bad on how modern they try to be but I was impressed and thankfully wrong. IT WAS AMAZING. 9/10

i expected this to be terrible but it wasn't too bad. i still prefer the first one but it was still enjoyable and i was able to look past the occasional cringe line. i just dont know why they got muna in this movie if during their 15 second screentime they were barely visible

SO GOOD!! Yes, it was cheugy as hell and the editing was some of the worst I’ve seen in a long time, but they did such a great job making this a sequel for the og fans. All the little details and the Gen Alpha digs were brilliant. Will be seeing again

Freakier Friday is purely a fun ride and sometimes that’s enough.

Freakier Friday was such a let down. The way they tried to show Gen z was just embarrassing like no one actually talks the way the characters do. It felt like adults guessing what teenagers are like, and they got it completely wrong.

was funny & heartwarming but 2 secs in, ur kinda over the obvious brand promo + constant jokes about the differences between gen z & older generations. every other joke was like “these kids w their safe spaces + triggers + wokeness” & those jokes are so boring & overdone

the beginning was really bad but then it turned out better than i expected

I love this!! super nostalgic 8/10, and I ADORE the concert scene!! esp the take me away part!!

Enjoyable but the first one is still so much better :)

I expect this to be a really cheesy movie with them leaving it so long between the two, but I absolutely loved it! It was done really well.
Jamie Lee Curtis & Lindsey Lohan slip back into the roles of Tess & Anna like no time has passed! Having the new generation adds fresh laughs and touching moments.

I prefer the original but it wasn’t that bad

So cute, I think it’s different but nice at the same time and I love how they didn’t change a lot of things either, it’s very cute and heartwarming
