Freakier Friday

recently rewatched the original (highly recommend you rewatch the first before this) as you see more of the similarities and jokes made from that.

this movie was actually a great sequel, usually i can’t say that but this- was epic. there was so many familiar faces and some brand new and i understood and truly enjoyed the swap. was giggling in my seat in the cinema the entire time.

lindsey and jamie’s dynamic is so heartwarming to see back on the screen.

Lots of references to the first movie. Lots of cameos. Lots of woke bits. Entertaining and good music.

they were loyal to the original but gave us more than nostalgia. In the first 20 minutes I was shaking cause it seem like it was going to be one of those new movies that are really bad on how modern they try to be but I was impressed and thankfully wrong. IT WAS AMAZING. 9/10

This is how a sequel of a classic film should be done. It was pure perfection, it was funny, emotional, nostalgic. It was a perfect combination of new and old.
