The only thing I liked in this film was the friendship group. Asides that, I thought it was quite selfish of Carrie to realize that she wanted Charlie on his wedding day. You broke up months ago and didn’t reach out after breaking his heart and never once told him you loved him.

it was ok… laughed at bits but it was a bit boring bit slow… didn’t really like carrie and they had no chemistry and they’d met like 4-5 times and was like yeah marriage x everyone probably liked due to young hugh grant with his hair and glasses xx dare i say overrated x

I was more interested in the side couples that had 2 seconds of screen time, the main couples romance was based on nothing, actually probably lust, expected better for a romance. Doesn’t get a 👎🏼 because, Hugh grant, and the brother is funny and his romance was cute

Between meh & like because as a romance, I hated it but as a comedy, I liked it. Love the quirky friend group. Love the crumb of gay representation. Hardly anyone reacting to a guy dying at their wedding was kind of wild. Hate that they waited until wedding day to confess love.

Loved the beginning and the friend group. I wanted to know more about the younger brother’s relationship more than Charles’. There was nothing concrete between Charles and Carrie, just lust. I feel bad for Henrietta getting rejected at the altar. 3 💒, 1⚰️, 1 ❌💒

i know he’s a dick in real life but hugh grant looked SO FINE in this movie. also why did the friend that died have to die??? he was my fave ugh 😭 all the friends were lowkey iconic. photoshopping one of them into a pic with prince charles was absolutely hilarious. honestly carrie did nothing for me and the main romance between her and charles was mid would’ve rather seen more of scarlett and the texan

Although the film is basically a light romantic comedy, it couldn't be more psychologically astute in its portrait of a man who defines himself by his bachelorhood, which empowers him to get past his fear of commitment.

BAD!! Sorry but this was just so not good like the characters were funny, the friend group had such a strong connection but then it comes to the MC and his LOVE INTEREST and it feels like there’s no connection like hello? maybe i’m just a hater

I LOVED the cozy friendship vibe & young Hugh Grant is an angel, but I could not get past the minimal chemistry that the two leads have. It’s so boring, really bland, and honestly I just don’t think they’re good for each other. He’s obsessed, and she gave minimal commitment.
