I absolutely loved the short. I wish it would’ve won at the Oscars. I didn’t know that a tree could make me cry. It’s so beautifully done and you need to check it out.

A simple story that is kinda just a ripoff of The Giving Tree, but executed with really unique and pretty animation that gave it enough style to keep me invested enough.

Absolutely love the animation for this short film and in 13 minutes it’s able to tell an extremely impactful story that almost brought me to tears. Huge congratulations to this team behind this film.

7.5 - (Adoptive/Foster) Parenting is so hard.
The animation style is like anything I’ve seen & I loved the texture and color. It also provided such an insane range of emotion for such a short run time. At first I couldn’t quit smiling, & then I almost actually teared up.
What’s bothering me here is the unnecessary (?) Bible verse tacked on to the end. It’s not even the religious aspect of it, though that bothers me a bit too, but it’s how throwing a blatant message like that on screen just undercuts audience’s ability to pull their own messages from the work, & in a short film format where frequently so little is left to interpretation, that’s disappointing.

Forevergreen follows a lonely tree and a wandering bear who form a quiet bond in the forest. It’s surprisingly emotional, drawing real feeling from a relationship I’ve never seen on screen before. Tender, creative, and beautifully done—a small film with a big heart. 8/10

It was a cute, short story with a good message. The animation is really unique and well-done. Its builds a great atmosphere for you to really feel the emotions in what you’re watching. There’s a lot of biblical symbolism and a wholesome ending. 6/10

Yeah that was really incredible. Absolutely stunning and wholly unique animation that just made this already beautiful story so enjoyable to watch. Such a wide array of emotions in such a short runtime. This feels so special.
