Fly Me to the Moon Reviews

I've had to change my initial rating because, even though the production is immense, it just feels empty. I can barely remember scenes or even the whole middle section of the movie. Maybe I need to rewatch it, but then again, I have no plan to. The score was forgettable, the tension didn't last long and the acting and costumes felt too 'clean'. I think I would have preferred this a lot more without the romantic side. Now, as Gru would say, "We will have the capability to pull off the true crime of the century...we...are going to steal.....pause for effect...THE MOOOOOOOON!!!".

Three things

1. Lance is an icon
2. Whoever put Channing Tatum in that see through yellow jumper with a white vest underneath should be shot
3. Did they steal the cat from Ali Hazelwood?

If you are looking for a date night film and you are also a fan of all things NASA and space or maybe history or even conspiracy theories then look no further than the romcom Fly Me to the Moon starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum. 3.5 out of 5 rating

channing & scarlett were incredible in their roles. loved the chemistry they have, the editing is great, the production design is on point, but channing’s wardrobe supervisor should be fired. that see through yellow tee with the white under tank top was definitely not it haha. i really enjoyed it nonetheless, great comedy, the cinematography & color pallet is stunning. also the score is spectacular. 8.5 / 10

Might be the first rom-com i actually liked, Not alot of romance and it has a great story.

Flu Me to the Moon is the kind of film that you should watch with your significant other. This film is a very cute romance story put in an immensely serious period of the human history; the Moonlanding. It is extremely funny, amusing, sarcastic and dramatic. I think it is a no brainer for couples.

It’s a decent movie.Pretty comedic, I enjoyed the jokes. Cast was awesome. I do feel like the movie was a bit stretched out tho.Plot wasn’t that good 4 it 2 be that long. Idea was pretty interesting tho and I liked how they executed it. Good watch if there’s nothing else.

really enjoyed this! great original story expanded upon history that most know but with a fun twist - crazy stacked cast but apple tv does have that $$$. I’m also a sucker for a space movie with great production + lots of bops!

Almost a “meh” but it had enough charm to keep it a “like”.

6.8 - A perfectly serviceable, if a little long, movie.
It’s the type of thing I’d put on with my parents or grandparents, & also be ok if kids were around.

The script is a little bland, & the chemistry between the leads is questionable, but the story still has some heart & the romance is just reserved enough to not overshadow everything else. Plus the angle taken to tell the moon landing background story and the questions around the conspiracy theory are fun.

This was definitely mindless entertainment, but it was very entertaining mindless entertainment. Great performances, great comedy, and just an entertaining story overall. It’s a great feel-good and comedic film I think has something for everyone.

I think I am a sucker for NASA movies. The cast was stellar, Scarlett, Channing, Woody and Ray were going to be convincing and great! For me, Jim Rash is the most interesting character and I wanted him in all the scenes. I enjoyed this movie and liked the dialogue, pacing and plot!

Less of a comedy and more of a light romantic drama, Fly Me To The Moon boasts fun performances, an intriguing story, and excellent set design/costuming. It kept me entertained from start to finish and challenges the audience on the concept of lying with marketing. 7/10

Good movie with an even better cast. Made me laugh and cry and be proud to be an American.

Insanely good production quality as per usual with Apple films. I was constantly impressed with the editing and camera work. The film itself is a great one, very well executed. I hope the production crew and editing teams get the props they deserve. Very well done.

Really enjoyed the movie. Great chemistry between Channing and Scarlet and such delightful moments. Overall, it is a wholesome, charming and entertaining movie with many themes that move you. 8/10.
