Man merkt diesem Film ganz stark die Inspiration durch den 1968 Film Barbarella an. Die Hintergründe und Inszenierung der Wachen, des Imperators oder der Vogelmenschen sind sehr davon inspiriert. Die größte Schwäche des Films ist wohl der Hauptcharakter der nicht überzeugen kann

So campy but it’s such a fun movie. Costumes are great and the story is awesome. The soundtrack is amazing and the acting is pretty good. A bit nostalgic but I love the movie.

Campy 80s fun with a great soundtrack by Queen.

The perfect amount of camp and a lot of fun.

Sometimes it's good to watch a terrible movie, so that all the other movies seem great in comparison.

⚫ I really liked the costume design of this. Whether it be the imaginative fringe gowns worn by the women or the elaborate collars worn by the men, this just fully catapulted me into an 80s-Barbarella-feel, which I appreciated. Definitely recommend this for the visuals alone. 🔴
