I realized that I hate people from Minnesota

God, how is Frances this gorgeous.

Cohens kill it. watched this gem for the first time-love most everything about this movie- each accent is unique & every character is areal person. I just wanted it to not end! Chemistry-Macy,Mcdormand,Buscemi,Stormare are all just great.The acting, writing, cinematography-dope.

Hat mir gefallen. Die Storyline war interessant. Mochte die Beziehung von Marge und Norm :,) und ich liebe den Cast.

Not sure why this movie is so critically acclaimed. The exaggerated Minnesota accents and quirks were overplayed about five minutes in, and from there it became a real chore to finish. I kept watching, hoping for some kind of redemption or payoff, but it never came. If you showed me this movie without context, I would’ve assumed it was a parody of Minnesotans and crime dramas. It dragged, the characters felt flat or caricatured, and I won’t be watching it again.

Definitely overrated but still a great movie nonetheless
