I really wanted to like this movie, but I didn’t find it very realistic. I also disagreed with how the church was portrayed, since those aren’t the teachings I personally know from attending church regularly. The protagonist’s self-acceptance felt too sudden, going from⬇️

finally a queer movie with a happy ending

something about the pacing threw me off, it’s a good movie but i think the character development of the father as well as the decisions made were very sudden and lumped in at the end. you didn’t really get to see them think things through or the process getting there 🤷🏼‍♀️

You need to have a lot of patience to be able to watch the movies, I'm very sure, but the movie is very good, whether you like it or not, it's easy. I really liked the romance between the characters.

3,5 ⭐️ a bit plain but cute.

Amazing perspective on being told homosexuality is a sin but still doing in your heart what you know is true.

It‘s a very well made movie but I didn’t like that for 1 hour nothing happened and there were only 2 cute scenes.
Overall it was a relaxed movie with a good message but it could have been way shorter for the amount of time you watch it.

This is pretty good. Done well. Seems pretty realistic (seems like one of the better conversion places too). Like the change from the dad, turns out he’s not so bad afterall

Surprisingly good and not boring

AMAZING MOVIE loved the ending it was so heartwarming and it was so nice to see the dad change his whole perspective and James realise who he is

watched this a while ago was a slow burn enermies to lovers really but it had a memorable end! the vibes loved but the plot: way it all started throw me off

Dang movie got me in the heart. Had to change it to loved it. ❤️😭❤️

the story was good and i liked that but it was actually probably one of the worst things i’ve watched. i think if the film had a higher budget it could’ve gone further. wouldn’t watch again. i like charlie coz he’s in alvin and the chipmunks. the main guys dads a knob tho.
