I'm loving the return of spoofs, even the not-so-great ones. This started hopeful, and certain gags worked magically. Unfortunately, 90 minutes felt like a decade, and the balance between sense and nonsense didn't work for me at all. I was in with the over-the-topness, but not so much when it resulted in making other jokes fall flat, like with the conclusion to the 'whodunit'. Otherwise, the production and casting were great. I'd maybe recommend it if you like royal period piece dramas.

6/10 Fun lighthearted film (Downton Abbey with Airplane humour). Recommend.

Much like most movies that rely heavy on jokes…some will really work, most will be fine, and others will be bad. For the most part they were fine and I’m happy to have decent spoof movie again

I normally can't stand period pieces but this spoof movie was right up my alley. Like airplane meets Bridgeton (never seen the show but I'm assuming the feel based on the trailers I've seen). I'm sure it'll be even funnier the second time. 8.5/10

Such a wacky movie. I really like these kind of comedies. The story was pretty good, the characters were fun & most of the jokes were hilarious. Some parts could’ve been improved though. The ending was not expected tbh but I liked it. Definitely for a certain audience.

Unlike airplane this didn’t land so well. Sometimes the jokes felt overworked and forced. Started out strong but as the story progressed I laughed less frequently, I probably won’t watch again but I’m praying for the comeback of quality spoof films.

Amazing movie! If you loved the Airplane movies, Naked Gun, Top Secret, Blazing Saddles and any others like this, you will absolutely love this movie.

Nope, not good. Even though I like British humor, this one was straight-up dumb.

Certainly leans into that Naked Gun-esque comedy, unfortunately it didn’t have an especially high success rate for me like that film did.
Jimmy Carr almost tried too hard, sometimes things were so obscure that it just wasn’t funny. It’s all British stereotype humour that I think will actually work better with an American audience. The story itself is good in fairness with a late game twist that was genuinely unexpected.
Cast are all great here, even Tom Felton, whom I usually find a hard watch. Thomasin McKenzie is such a fantastic actress, and I do believe should be in a higher calibre of film, but glad she’s getting work nonetheless.
Not going to rush back to this, or likely even at all, but it did give me a few laughs for what it’s worth.

Really funny. Airplane but make it a period piece. Don’t usually like dumb humor but this was witty enough, British humor, and subtle in a in-your-face sort of way so I really liked it. The storyline was fun.

This a fun movie, a lot like airplane, if your old enough to have seen that. but I laughed a lot, enjoyed the dry wit. Enjoy the satire and a good laugh.
