I can see why this movie left a mark on cinema considering when it was made. I do however find it hard to rate highly bc of the pacing & ending that I wish had been more developed. There are a few moments that really make this movie, but not enough for me to fall in love. 6.4/10

i really enjoyed this film. i thought it was good. i felt bad for christiane; she was really pretty, but i did enjoy the entire film. i really liked the cinematography and i wish there was more to the ending, but i still enjoyed it

A bit overrated in terms of a modern day viewing. Back then I can imagine it left a mark.
