It was a good movie, but I do not like how Ted Bundy was portrayed as a good man.

I disagree with reviewers that this promoted Bundy as a good guy, it demonstrated how others saw him which is why he got away with so much for so long. Zac Efron nailed the role which helped elevate him from heartthrob to serious actor.

Amazing movie I’m Ted

Unlike similar movies, Ted is not shown committing vile acts or doing something that definitively proves he’s guilty. I assume the intent is make the audience view him as his victims did. He’s portrayed in a way that allows you to question if he’s guilty as the story progresses.

This movie was wild man.

Dank movie ted was dank in the beginning but then towards the end he became pretty ocky

Wasn’t the biggest fan of Zac Efrons portrayal of Ted Bundy but it’s still a good film

i didn’t love how they portrayed buddy in this movie i feel like his truly vile nature wasn’t really there in this but i do love the perspective of the story mostly seen through his interactions with those close to him instead of many true crime docs that explore the killers mind

Tired of true crime movies. They always lead to the romanticization of the serial killers and the complete disregard of the victims and their families. They knew what they were doing when they didn’t make this a documentary centering the families of those Ted Bundy hurt.

Damn Efron, you played this well. It was also cool to have a James Hetfield cameo! I love Collins as well and she does a wonderful job. It’s crazy to think that all this happened.

7/10 good movie but doesn't portray the true evil of the actual bitch who did those murders, also sorry but troy from high school musical, really? made way too many people romanticise the murderer even more, gives too much credit to Ted, the movie made him look smarter than he is

Some people will think the movie glorifies Ted Bundy, that it portrays him as a cool, stylish, good guy.

But I think that’s totally done on purpose, and actually pretty smart. Ted was an extremely manipulative, sociopathic killer, but he was also handsome, which made him likable, confident, and seem innocent.

In real life, it’s easy to fall for people like that, charming, persuasive, and deeply messed up.
The film shows the image Ted Bundy had in the eyes of most people. Just like they saw him, the movie makes us feel like he was a good guy.

That’s what makes it so realistic, it shows who he appeared to be on the surface, before finally revealing who he really was.

I think it’s a very well-made film.

Zac Efron absolutely killed this role, that final scene in the courthouse gets better every time I watch it
