Cool effects but definitely tacky all together

all time favorite movie. i think the deadites look super cool, evil ash was such a cool look. literally so many iconic lines i say to this day (“Groovy”). the kills were amazing, they really make it a horror comedy. the only con is how they had to remake the first movie within the first like 15 minutes since they couldn’t get the rights

Absolutely loved this! I really enjoyed the first one but this is just on another level! I found the physical comedy so funny and it’s such an enjoyable journey all the way through. Ash is awesome in this movie, GROOVY! The gore is still there with plenty of blood! Incredible…

ash was aura farming in this one

I haven’t seen this since the early 90s, and there was a lot that I had forgotten about. It’s like the first part of this movie is all of part one, just condensed, then added on to. There isn’t as much gore here as there was in the first. But everything else is just better!

I definitely liked this one WAY more than the first. I feel like even though it had even more crazy visuals and acting and plot, it felt like more of a movie and was way less annoying. Ash is a cutie patootie who looks great covered in muck and needs a nap. That ending? Wild lmao

Did ash forget the first movie? Why do you let the tape play the ritual again? This movie was a lot more goofy which I liked. the chainsaw hand looked uncomfortable. With that last scene, they just need to give the guy a break. The special effects were really good again.

9.8/10 God Damn perfect Sam Raimi horror. With a perfect origin story about a man who faces unstoppable damnnation. The use of stop motion animation with live action is amazing. This film is also a perfect way to move into Army of darkness. This is going to be “Groovy”

the second evil dead delivers on all counts of dramatics, editing, camera work, practical effects, and so much blood. It’s also pretty funny, the funky camera work stole my heart. I do like this one more than the first one I can’t wait to watch the 3rd!

Better than the first but still hate the vine scene

so entertaining to watch while high, it was nice and silly

improvements all around from the first movie. you can tell it has a little more budget and the mystery was a little more fleshed out. however, this movie felt like a set up for army of darkness instead of its own. I love Ash's character development into a cool hero.

1/10 Quite possibly the worst horror film I’ve ever seen. The comedy is painful, felt like I was watching a low budget YouTube film. The horror aspect doesn’t even exist. How anybody enjoys this is beyond me to understand.
