Relatable

I saw this at 12:30 in the morning and it was definitely that type of movie. This film feels like it does when you drink cough syrup and wake up in the middle of the night and see demons in your room. It has a great message, I just wish I knew what that is. Love David Lynch!

A see-for-yourself experience. David Lynch’s first feature is 89 minutes of uncomfortable. Full of vivid, surrealistic, and disturbing imagery, ERASERHEAD is a bizarre masterpiece which will make your head turn and skin crawl. 10/10

watched this on my 18th birthday at midnight. best experience of my life. probably my favorite movie i don’t know but i do know it is so worth the watch. it is so fucking weird i love it

Definitely one of the strangest films I have ever seen, Eraserhead is a master class in abstract filmmaking. Although minimalistic in nature, the framing and composition are superb. There were so many shocking and brilliant moments. Lynch is truly a master of his craft. 8.5/10

A hypnotic horror show. Grotesque, unsettling and occasionally hilarious. It’s David Lynch doing what he does best - fucking with your mind in the best ways.

This was, without a doubt, the weirdest movie I have ever seen. I am honestly still just sitting here and scratching my head about what I just witnessed - this is such a creative, interesting, and WEIRD movie.

There is not a stretch of more than five minutes where I was sure of what was going on and why, but I honestly really liked that about this movie. if you want a straightforward story with compelling characters and a sensible plot, this movie is definitely not for you. But the themes and issues the David Lynch tackles resonate in a really interesting and strange way with a million different possible explanations and interpretations

One thing about this movie is that I feel like it would benefit strongly from additional rewatches, but I was not really hooked enough to have any real desire to rewatch it anytime soon. I’m not sure what exactly it is that I got out of this movie, but I had a really fun time and am definitely glad I watched it.

What even is this this?

I like movies. I consider myself pretty smart. Maybe I need to do some more research and rewatch this. But… what the hell was this? Art is subjective; I’m not going to say this was bad, but this was not something I can say I enjoyed. Maybe that’s the point.
