It's important to remember this movie is 40 years old, technology was restrictive for filmmaking and it is NOT action Sci-Fi

This is a classic sci-fi bromance film that is absolutely worth watching and has shown its quality over time. The acting by both leads and the quality of the story carry the movie well beyond the limitations of the special effects. Tense,Touching, truly wonderful 8.5/10 🫶

This was a really random movie that if you give it time is a fun watch. I felt attached to the characters and I’m glad it went the way it did. If you like older movies see this. Although it is sci fi it’s definitely more then just sci fi.

It was much like a long episode of Star Trek.

Some parts seemed racist and wrong to me but in the end I did really enjoy this movie and I feel like they made up a lot of it

It starts put very intruiging but the tail end feels much too fast. I think they would have been better off making this a series rather than a movie. 5.8/10

Fun and silly and cute. No desire to rewatch but it was certainly a good use of my time.

So un-charmingly weird and unsettling. Really not my bag. There were a couple decent sets but that wasn’t enough.
