It was a good concept and did very good with the start of the story. There were some low budget moments and i appreciated that they stuck to practical effects. The ending was good except for the reason why the animals were there, that just didn’t sit right with me

Pretty fun if formulaic creature feature that begs for sequels. Feels very much like a “part one.” Decently acted, cool monster design.

I like the concept. It’s just not realized. You won’t hate this. You just won’t be super engaged by it. So many questions. So many non answers. It does setup a sequel 🤷‍♂️ Maybe this should have been a series? I think that would have worked better.

The only reason I know this film exists is because I saw a copy of it at Walmart. But I heard from someone it was pretty cool sci-fi film, so I figured I’d check it out. While it did have an interesting premise, I feel answers were left out for a sequel that will never come.

Some of the graphics are questionable. I like the twist at the end and a new take on aliens invading the earth. I thought it needed a little more in areas. More characters or just more detail about things. But did enjoy it overall. Would have been a better series.

A decent amount of elevation is what this needed. Started at a high and gradually demoted, to a 'low' $18 million budget. It's more than obvious they fumbled on ideas and money. That being said, I do like how they went around it, but this would have been infinitely better if they kept the pace to a realistic standard. As soon as the adrenaline-fueled missions began all sense of time and effort 'blew out the building'. It let down the entertaining character development and mysteries. I'd give this a dislike but I look forward to a better sequel/prequel. "Who?" sent a billion highly predictable but interesting theories through my mind, all 10x more horrifying than the monsters.

It was more engaging than I anticipated even though I don’t feel it introduced anything new to the “post-apocalyptic future with monsters” scenario. There were several very tense scenes and the leads did a great job

I really enjoyed this movie. It’s a little slow going at first but once they wander off it keeps your attention and is great!

It was ok but now we’ll never get any kind of sequel cuz it did 3 mill at that box with a 18 million dollar budget 😭😂

91/100 have to mention the quiet place similarly but on its own - awesome movie - characters back stories were believable and the surprise twist on origins was perfect

This movie introduced another great addition to my favorite genre “Monsters take over.” The alien is introduced at the very beginning almost killing a boy, which quickly explains how they survive. I enjoyed the character development and the battle scenes were greatly executed.

Didn’t make a whole lot of sense, but otherwise a decent movie.

Entertaining and an interesting story. I still have questions 😂 Although it did answer many questions that were obvious.

Great beginning, but this has one of the worst endings I’ve ever seen. Made the movie bad overall
