I thought this would just be some normal wlw romance…it wasn’t.

Inches away from being really good.

Really disappointed with this. It had potential but felt unfinished and rushed. The ending was abrupt yet not a cliff hanger. It just left me thinking “oh, is that it?” The only pro was Anne Hathaway!

Disappointed

This is a rather strange film, slow moving and moody.

6.8 - this needs all the TWs. It’s a solid slow burning (but quick paced) rom-dram until it takes an abrupt, almost startling turn in the final act & then gives no recovery time before ending. McKenzie is severely underrated, but despite her performance it’ll not be for everyone.

The first scene is WILD

Uhhhh this was so disappointing. The plot fell so short. Literally the dumbest direction they could have went, but the style and acting was phenomenal

Excellent thriller, you’re on edge the whole time. Phenomenal acting. Could watch it again and probably pick up on subtle tells.

what great cinematics.. i dont wanna say wasted on, but pretty much wasted on the movie. eileen made me cringe to the point of actual, physical goosebumps and i at no point knew what was gonna happen next. i, however, think it ended quite alright for the realistics of the movie

Let me start with.. AMAZING cast and acting but I still feel like I just wasted an hour and a half. It’s slow moving. About an hour in there’s a 😳 moment and you’re sure this is what we were waiting for and then basically it just fizzles out and ends. Like a dud firework.

Slow but interesting movie. Twist wasn’t huge or unforeseen but still enjoyable overall!

could’ve been interesting - but it was lacking

unfortunately, this film was a disspotment; I love thomasin mckenzie & anne hathaway - but this wasted then entirely. this easily feels like a short film stretched out to feature length & and with a "plot twist" so underwhelming, and the ambiguity of the ending feels so unearned.

oh, otessa 😳 this film ran through very quickly, yet it was disturbingly good. i loved the typography featured in the beginning and end credits :)

Was NOT expecting that ending. The movie had a twist I didn’t see coming. It was an alright movie, not bad but I wouldn’t watch again
