If the spice extends life, than this film shortens life. The visuals hold up mostly to today’s. The story is bizarre, slow, and hard to follow. If you skipped this one you wouldn’t be missing anything.

I remember watching this movie with my dad growing up. I think it still holds up.

Having only seen the modern Dune movies before and never read the books I liked this a lot. Only real issue is speed running the second half of the story which to me was the more interesting part. Kyle MacLachlan is great. The Roblox shields gave me a giggle.

It’s a good watch. The flaws and the good stuff balance each other out.
You either love it or hate it.
