Burton’s usual dark tone is subdued but the creativity and imagination remain, finding messages in various segments of the story everyone can relate to.

Leider noch nicht das Original gesehen, deswegen kein Vergleich möglich.
Einstieg war sehr langsam, aber ab Mitte dann ganz gut, ganz schöner Kinderfilm, aber nicht annähernd so gut wie andere, wirklich eher für kleine Kinder

bizarre retelling of a classic that was not required, where the circus are the good guys, and the other circus are the bad guys, and ita all a bit of a half hearted mess despite the cast.
