Burton’s usual dark tone is subdued but the creativity and imagination remain, finding messages in various segments of the story everyone can relate to.

I think they did a good job at making this story and film deeper than the original film. I like this film and the characters they have added. Colette is my fav addition to the story. The villain was expanded and played well by Keaton. The father just irritated me slightly
