Dragonslayer

Interesting sword & sorcery film with a unique somber atmosphere and Welsh/Scottish aesthetic. Great practical effects. The acting is less than inspiring on the whole but not abysmal. I'm not sure the twist ending was what the story needed & it seemed to come out of left field.

It's not the most exciting fantasy out there. Idk if it really holds any rewatch value, but it's worth one watch at least. Characters are decent, and effects are a product of its time, but they are also decent.

I’m a sucker for all things fantasy and dragon related, then you go and add that with crazy visuals and costumes. Can’t hate it
