DragonHeart Reviews

Not what I expected, that's for sure! Goofy movie. A few actors including Quaid appeared a bit out of their element. Similarly with the story, many scenes felt a bit arbitrary, but it's enjoyable enough. The special effects were a bit of an eyesore. A couple good musical pieces.

Don’t know why I like it, I just do. Good soundtrack too.

Childhood classic. Will always have a special place in my heart.

yes

Why does he not have an accent 😭

I’m confused how there are 5 more movies, guess I’ll have to watch. Dennis Quaid is not a period piece actor, but Sean Connery did great voice acting.

Underrated medieval fantasy classic. The action is fun, it has an important message about power, a CGI dragon that still looks pretty good today, lighthearted humor with serious moments, and a score by Randy Edelmen that absolutely SOARS and may make you cry. For me, it did. Definitely one of Sean Connery's most underrated roles.
Content expanded.

One of my ultimate family favourites since being a kid. Love the book & the film. They don't make them like this anymore.

Decent CGI for what they had, okay movie, not bad.

dragon is voiced by the notorious woman beater, Mr. Connery. the rest of it hasn't aged well.

6/10

One of my favorite movies. It's emotional, stunning and the music is awesome. I love Draco and Bowen friendship, every time I see this movie I cry like a child.

Loved this as a kid

Neat concept. Effects were decent. I remember enjoying this better when I was in middle school. It didn’t really hold up for me, sadly. I forgot how amazing the score by Edelman was and that his main theme was used in so many trailers.
