Not what I expected, that's for sure! Goofy movie. A few actors including Quaid appeared a bit out of their element. Similarly with the story, many scenes felt a bit arbitrary, but it's enjoyable enough. The special effects were a bit of an eyesore. A couple good musical pieces.

Underrated medieval fantasy classic. The action is fun, it has an important message about power, a CGI dragon that still looks pretty good today, lighthearted humor with serious moments, and a score by Randy Edelmen that absolutely SOARS and may make you cry. For me, it did. Definitely one of Sean Connery's most underrated roles.
