HELP I WATCHED THAT FILM WITH MY FAMILY BC IT WAS FOR MY LITERATURE CLASS
overall I loved every single scene how they filmed, and mc *chefs kiss*

I watched it some time ago, really one of the best classic films I've seen! I love the meaning behind it, and the plot captivated me too much. My best friend even gave me the book for my birthday because I talked so much about this movie. Honestly, I still have to read it,⬇️

oh ew this was an atrocious adaptation lmao. just so different from the book & not in a good way. & it’s too long. only good things about this were ben barnes & a certain kiss (did not expect them to portray the queerness that underlies the book). still a bad film though :(

While Wilde's wit remains firmly entrenched, there's also a gruesome vein of gothic horror, and elements of the original which existed in the subtext or were merely hinted at are brought graphically into the open.

They missed some things out but I enjoyed it

7/10 enjoyed this great adaptation to the Oscar’s Wilde novel, and a great cast. Worth a watch.

read the book and watched the movie with a good friend and damn
the movie is definitely differ from the book and leaves some things out but they give us the dorian GAY fantasy we all wanted while reading

the movie does a really god job of showing dorian losin innonvence and how that affects his life. And the story changes from the book to the movie added alot to the story

iskreno, Ben je idealan za ulogu, stvarno ga volim i uzivala sam da ga gledam. Cast je stvarno dobar, a prica je nekako nesvakidasnja i jaka..malo je i preteca pedeset nijansi, ali sa dubokom psiholoskom pricom

Didn’t like the book, idk why I thought the movie would be any different. Also the movie had no business being this long.

The book describes Dorian Gray as being the most beautiful man Basil has ever seen, and I have to say casting Ben Barnes was absolutely the right choice. HOT DAMN. 🔥

kitabı daha guzel. Lord Henry'nin cumleleri,hayata bakis acis,Dorian'i nasıl manipüle ettigini, karakter betimlemeleri,Basil'in duygularinin yansitilmasi..daha bir cok sey filmden uzak kalmis kötü değil konu üstten anlasiliyor izleyince ama ilk kitabını okumak daha mantikli.
