Dorian Gray

I watched it some time ago, really one of the best classic films I've seen! I love the meaning behind it, and the plot captivated me too much. My best friend even gave me the book for my birthday because I talked so much about this movie. Honestly, I still have to read it,⬇️

oh ew this was an atrocious adaptation lmao. just so different from the book & not in a good way. & it’s too long. only good things about this were ben barnes & a certain kiss (did not expect them to portray the queerness that underlies the book). still a bad film though :(

The vibe was very different from the book, a lot more dramatic and sensational, which wasn’t beneficial in this case. The start was promising and I liked many visuals, but then it fell off unfortunately.
