Interesting story, AWFUL execution. A musical made by someone who doesn’t know how to make one, resulting in bizarre numbers and choreo as an afterthought. Set and costume design got chucked out a window for generic CGI. IF they make a fifth, they need to call up Kenny Ortega.

i’m sorry but the ending was horrible, you set up such a great plot and you ruined it 😭😭also by saying there is more to the story makes very little sense bc you ended it like you resolved the problem. but on a good note i loved red (except for some cringey things)and her mom ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Okay obviously it’s not the originals, and there is no Cameron. But I think as a sequel it was actually good just don’t compare to the others. Don’t not watch it because your stubborn ass is sad it doesn’t have the old cast.

WHERE WAS THE LAST ACT OF THIS MOVIE? There was no climax and things just kinda ended? I’m so confused. I feel like I wasted my time, I have so much nostalgia for at least the first movie of this series, but this spit in my face a little. I miss you Kenny Ortega. Come home, plz.

The fact that this movie was just dragged by the singing. There was no proper climax and it feels like it just ended. Would’ve been a better plot twist if Ella was the one that made the Queen of Hearts evil.

I feel so conflicted, I think I liked it but it felt slow to start and rushed at the end. And I liked the music but the cinematography was definitely an interesting choice. I loved seeing all the young characters though and I’ll probably watch any new sequels so idk.

the vks served too hard that the rest ruined the movie. the ending was rushed that i was left feeling disappointed and genuinely confused. kenny ortega would’ve saved this movie. also why did the red queen look like a pad at the end 2/10

The plot to this film was awful, they set up plots and don’t go through with them and none of the film made sense, it felt like scenes were missing and the songs were awful. A real disappointment in the Descendants franchise, they really missed the mark with this one.

IM SHITTING MY PANTS THIS WAS SO BAD!! the music is what angered me most, stop hiring pop songwriters to write musical numbers!! IM SICK OF IT! and don’t get me started on the plot holes 💀

This movie could’ve been SOOOO peak. Like the concept and story is genuinely so interesting, Queen of hearts is a dope villain and the idea that she used to be the sweetest person in the world felt so consequential, but they just did not execute the story with enough creativity.

i have hot takes about this movie i actually think it ranks SLIGHTLY higher than descendants 1.
i enjoy almost all the songs, i like the main characters, and the choreography in this one is super fun too!
people think this one is bad because they didnt grow up with it but descendants 1 is also hot garbage i promise

pretty good - had its bops, i liked the costuming, etc. but it felt rushed/incomplete & i felt some characters were wasted on screen bc they didn’t have many lines/interacted much

i feel like the old descendants cast had better chemistry too like i could believe they’re friends

Okay so this movie felt … bland. There is no plot twist in any way whatsoever, it just, happened? The music felt more modern in all the wrong ways, the story had potential, kind of ruined it by not having a crazy twist at the end, ohh the call us jaladin scene was hilariously bad

the characters did nothing to move the sad excuse for a story along, everything just happened TO THEM, they didn’t do anything they wasted the time travel element and it was the most unsatisfying endings ever

“Call us Jaladdin” 😍 I only watched this for Brandy and Paolo’s reappearance for their roles as Cinderella and Prince Charming. Mediocre songs at best. Plot was convoluted and unnecessary. Protagonists were so unlikeable. But a fun watch if you like shitty movies 😁 3/10!! 👍🏽

the ending was rushed. the story had potential but was portrayed horribly. maybe if the movie was 30 minutes longer 🤷‍♀️ imo the main villains towards bridget should’ve been hades & maleficent not uliana. ella’s hair was more uma than cinderella. “young” hades casting was perfect
