Descendants: The Rise of Red

Interesting story, AWFUL execution. A musical made by someone who doesn’t know how to make one, resulting in bizarre numbers and choreo as an afterthought. Set and costume design got chucked out a window for generic CGI. IF they make a fifth, they need to call up Kenny Ortega.

i’m sorry but the ending was horrible, you set up such a great plot and you ruined it 😭😭also by saying there is more to the story makes very little sense bc you ended it like you resolved the problem. but on a good note i loved red (except for some cringey things)and her mom ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Okay obviously it’s not the originals, and there is no Cameron. But I think as a sequel it was actually good just don’t compare to the others. Don’t not watch it because your stubborn ass is sad it doesn’t have the old cast.

Still entertaining but so bad and it’s so bad that it’s fun and this can NOT be compared to the originals

I knew I wasn’t gonna like this as soon as I put it on. The music is modern bad. I really wanted the concept of wonderland being apart of it to be good but i don’t think it was done right. The ending is also so rushed. No point in making this either. No popcorn

I absolutely loved this! ❤️ I really enjoyed the new generation of characters and thought the time-travel storyline was such a clever way to continue the Descendants world. Being able to go back and see how things came to be, and then have the younger versions of the mums teach their daughters important lessons, added so much to the story.

I also loved how it continued the theme running through the other films that people aren’t simply good or evil. What happens to us can shape who we become, and sometimes understanding someone’s past can change how you see them.

The whole film flowed really well for me and I loved seeing how everything came together. The ending was especially comforting and left me with such a lovely, hopeful feeling. 🥹
