Deepwater Horizon
The balance of entertainment, education and reality is perfect. Everyone knows how greedy/corrupt companies like 'BP' are, but to witness just one 'gone wrong' scenario? Terrifying. The introduction feels like 'Jurrasic Park', only the dinos are dead juice (fossil fuel). It eased us into explanations without too much exposition. I felt like the guy in the crane, hypnotised by the effect of our actions. The visuals and score paired up with the cast and pace was enough for my emotions to implode. There's so much smart movie-making going on here, I don't think I'll ever forget it. The signs are there, and people still carry on.

Deepwater Horizon
It’s a good movie. The fact that it’s based on a true story makes the losses hurt more

Deepwater Horizon
Mark Wahlberg does such a good job in movies based on true stories. He really brings the heroic character to life, though most of the time his character never existed and was made up for the plot

Deepwater Horizon
in terms of the based on a true story films i’ve seen it was alright. it could have done more to flesh out the human factor and build character to at least one of the people killed. the ending was similarly pretty rushed and didn’t do much in terms of resolution
