The balance of entertainment, education and reality is perfect. Everyone knows how greedy/corrupt companies like 'BP' are, but to witness just one 'gone wrong' scenario? Terrifying. The introduction feels like 'Jurrasic Park', only the dinos are dead juice (fossil fuel). It eased us into explanations without too much exposition. I felt like the guy in the crane, hypnotised by the effect of our actions. The visuals and score paired up with the cast and pace was enough for my emotions to implode. There's so much smart movie-making going on here, I don't think I'll ever forget it. The signs are there, and people still carry on.

I didn’t like it mostly because of how well written it was that it scared me 😭 great movie though

I remember seeing bits and pieces of this movie when it was on the tv years ago, but holy shit, it's so good. All of the actors played their parts extremely well and nailed the oil rig banter and interactions as well as the playing the dramatic parts after the disaster. Mark Wahlberg needs to be the dedicated guy for reenactments, this movie and Patriot's Day were both incredible. I enjoyed seeing the real pictures and vids at the end but I wish they went into a little bit more detail about what happened with BP. 210 million gallons of oil has gotta be a tremendous charge or something

really great movie!! was my bf’s pick but i liked it & made me tear up a bit in the end!!
