*sigh* what did I really expect from a buzz feed movie?
acting is horrible, the script is even worse. I was so hyped for this movie because I was following the dear David story when it was first came out and Jesus this was more disappointing than watching morbius😪

I wanted to like this so badly, but it was just so terrible. How can they take the concept of this and just absolutely destroy it? Insane to me how they ruined a genuinely creepy/scary internet story. Terrible acting. Disappointed for Dear David. Put some respect on his name.

It was okay. Cheesy and predictable, but I guess that’s to be expected because it’s based on Adam’s comic series. The ending definitely could’ve been wrapped up without the additional scene and David’s backstory could’ve been deeper. And Kyle’s acting - YIKES.

ive watched a million of horror movie and this is the worst fr. its not scary at all. the production is so bad. it feels like a documentary of the writer life.

it was okay; i know it’s an indie film, but i feel like they could have sacrificed subpar cgi for something else. the scenes with the computer room were good and scary, but i feel like we got very little exposition about david’s family
