i thought it was really good. i was just confused at the timeline. the brother was with him the whole movie but then at the end it revealed he died so how did that even work??

Dark Drama. Not my favourite actors

One of the most underrated movies ever, such a really great performance all round and such a sad one. I can remember watching this movie for the first time and it really made me blown away, paddy’s performance is menacing throughout, heartbreaking movie. 💔

Dead man’s shoes is a very good revenge movie, sprinkled with Irish brilliancy. I’m definitely going to see more from Considine, a short review in but it’s 5 hours after I watched it and I don’t have the energy to do a 500 long winded ass review.

Gritty

Wasn’t a super high budget film but it was actually enjoyable, the plot twist at the end was mad

From what I remember the twist was unexpected

6/10 thought it would be more seeing the cult following it has but Paddy Considine was great and the gas mask was a great touch to his solider character

UK gangsters will always be funny to me. A very satisfying story of revenge here
