Just damn fantastic. Shut up and watch

a story of journey and development that was very spiritual, and poetic. the music, characters and dialogue had so much soul to it. the characters is one of this films strong suites most definitely and the comedy is solid. it’s a must watch western movie and it’s definition of a film. (8.5/10)

In the first half, it was kind of hard to not doze off, but it picked up in the second half. This feels like one of those acid trip movies, which it probably is in the western genre, but not one I'm particularly fond of. Score is haunting and Lance Henriksen is always a standout.

Pretty awesome fact Neil Young improvised the entire soundtrack to this film while watching it in a recording studio

An expressionist western that’s a retelling of Dante’s Inferno. Effortlessly cool, surprisingly funny, and incredible visuals shot by Robby Müller. When I first saw it, I was taken about by the expressionist elements since I was expecting a conventional western. A lot to analyze.

I thought it was an amazing throwback film that honors both old westerns and silver age cinema!!!
