"Who are the real villains?" Taking the biggest question from 'Jaws' and throwing the word generic overboard. Plot twists, double entendres, surrealism, and unnerving realism. Shudder has been exceeding my expectations recently, and the casting keeps me glued. Jai, Josh, and Hassie all outdid themselves. The cinematography and visual effects look great, and the overall Australian aesthetics fit perfectly. If you want a shark movie that isn't really a shark movie but definitely is a shark movie, this is it.

God I love big beautiful long eye-lashed bright puppy eyed damsel in distressed pitiful lover-boy men.

This was so fun and upsetting and frustrating and exhausting. Absolutely loved it, the action, the commentary, and the high tension cat and mouse.

Did not hold back on gore alright.. Not expected to end up a slasher either.

One of the better shark movies I’ve seen. A good twist on the idea of the shark movie and all the main characters are interesting. Definitely worth a watch 7.7/10
