Can you ever get tired of Rocky movies?

This is easily the best looking installment of the series. This was an absolutely phenomenal directorial debut by Michael B. Jordan. Every color, every take, every cut, every second of film has so much care and love put into it.

8/10. Probably my least favorite out of the Creed trilogy but a solid film nonetheless. Good soundtrack, acting, and fight scenes

Creed the King of Boxing

Third time is most definitely the charm.
Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut is an amazing accomplishment! And starring in it as the lead role while directing such an explosive film. Just another giant stepping stone to his road to glory (and an Oscar of course).
Now to talk about Jonathan Majors. What a casting and a perfect role for him. He plays the villain so well as we know. And a mountain next to Michael B. Jordan, who is already huge. I hate what has happened to Majors. He’s a phenomenal actor.
This Creed feels different than the rest. I’m guessing it has to do with Jordan’s vision. Also them stepping away from Rocky is definitely felt. It has some of the same stakes and turn of events as other movies in the franchise. But the emotion is turned up all the way up for this one! Dealing with grief, remorse and even touches on PTSD. A darker, somehow grittier movie than the others in its universe. And dealing with problems that black men deal with in the real world everyday. Jordan’s touch on this addition is so well done. You can tell he’s learned a lot from Coogler. And the fact he based some of the fighting choreography on anime fights is so cool.
The only thing I have a problem with is in the final fight when it turns into an empty arena. It kind of takes you out of it. The music and CGI background doesn’t feel right.

Now I’m ready to see Amara Creed whoop some ass!

Enjoyed more than 2. Had better conflict and more original story. They probably should’ve just talked it out but the motivation felt right.
