Absolutely worth the wait, but should’ve never been shelved anyway. Really was so nostalgic and I loved seeing all my favorite characters. Hilarious as hell and a must see, support the movie so WB can see how they fucked up💯

Legitimately hilarious….especially the first 30 minutes I was laughing out loud nonstop in the theater. Crazy this movie almost didn’t get released!! Beep beep

9.0 - It’s been almost a month since I watched this (this month, real life has been insane) but I’m still thinking about it.
I had high hopes, but tempered expectations. I know I typically love mixed animation & live-action stylistically, just because it’s unique & fun. And who doesn’t love the Looney Tunes at least a bit? So I thought I’d like this no matter what. But I really just wanted us, movie fans, really the general public, to win one. We don’t get those chances very much. With all the drama over shelving & writing this off, the mere fact it got pushed all the way through from being purchased to releasing in theaters was a huge win, but if it was actually good, & god forbid made money (?!) & the backlash was vindicated? That’d be massive.
And I think it was!
I found it genuinely funny, in a very classic way. But I also found it heartwarming (& ironically sweet in its storyline vaguely mirroring the Sisyphean efforts of the royal us, little normal people, fighting back against the mega corps!). Will Forte’s character, Kevin Avery, & Wile E.’s relationship by the end is second to probably only Grace & Rocky for the best duos put to screen this year. As mentioned, the gags & jokes felt genuinely classic & timeless, but the story was wonderfully modern - timely but simple enough to hopefully land with audiences for generations. It’s one I genuinely cannot wait to watch again, & hope it can elevate to the (cult) classic status of some of its genre niche predecessors, like “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” or “Space Jam.”
Congrats Dave Green & team, so glad you got it done.
