There were so many things that I enjoyed about this film: the insanely cool concept, Ellie and Palmer’s love story, Foster and McConaughey’s chemistry and the underlying theme of faith and truth not being mutually exclusive. Really good watch!

the universe is a pretty big place. If it's just us, seems like an awful waste of space.

So good. And it holds up!

A little slow, it’s not a “big event” movie but it holds its own. Thought provoking. Pretty ground breaking for its time in terms of effects and cinematic shots. That medicine cabinet shot goes hard.

Really hoped for a slightly bigger “wow” out it but it’s still an excellent watch.
