A rewatch

I liked it a lot, it was very interesting to watch. I found it too long for me personally, but I definitely understand why it was so long. I would recommend this and I would probably rewatch it if a friend or family asked to watch it with me.

Keanu Reeves is so hot. I also LOVE DC so plus for that. DC is better than marvel no doubt

I been watching sandman and that got me thinking of wanting to watch this. It was pretty good. Not enough demonlore to be honest haha but such cool scenes that made it hard to believe it came out in the mid 2000s. A good watch. Hope part 2 really is made.

pt. 1: haven’t seen enough constantine media to say if this movie is comic book accurate tbh but i rlly enjoyed it! the cinematography was better than i anticipated & the plot was v interesting. i wish we could have seen more of certain characters bc a lot of them felt underused

pros: visuals style, Keanu's performance, unique plot
cons: poor CGI characters, underutilized antagonist

it's a DC's Hellblazer adaption, mahn can't believe they cuts so many scenes, good movie except for some non sense

Incredible, one of my favorites.

John Constantine: "I guess there's a plan for all of us. I had to die - twice - just to figure that out. Like the book says, He works His work in mysterious ways. Some people like it. Some people don't."

It’s been a recent favorite, I can’t explain why! But this movie kicks ass, I wish a sequel was made. I know that it doesn’t 100% follow the comics but for what they achieved with this; I think it’s one of the more impressive adaptations that puts modern DC to shame.

Constantine is probably my favourite DC charachter and this film has always been great. It is dark and gritty, which is what I feel alot of DC films tend to avoid being.

Watched the 4k Blu-ray. Looked and sounded great. The movie has some amazing visuals. The world is so cool. Cool characters. But the movie is very uneven. And the plot is convoluted. And the tone is quippy but isn’t sure if we should laugh or not.
