Cinderella
Put it on to fall asleep to and then I ended up watching the whole thing. A classic and brings me back to my youth 😁

I love the story of Cinderella and the ugly stepsisters, but so much of this plot was the mice and evil cat. It also sidesteps the obvious themes of abuse. Missed opportunity for Disney as well as some weaker songs.

Cinderella
My favorite princess movie. Everyone from the king to Gus Gus are perfect characters. Cinderella even asked me to kiss her on the cheek at Disneyland when I was like 6 😂

Cinderella
I will always believe this is one of the most beautiful Disney movies ever. Both song and animation are beautiful. There isn’t a need to make a story complicated to have it be entertaining. It’s really a beauty. 10/10

The first 50 minutes are dedicated to introducing the conflict between the cat and the mice, which I found quite boring because I get frustrated with “dumb” characters, like the new mouse that arrives.
The cat turned out to be one of the cruelest characters in the film. The stepmother and her daughters were just as terrible, as their jealousy was constantly shown throughout the story. The idea of marrying the “Prince Charming” figure is also heavily romanticized.
Why does Cinderella’s slipper fall off if it fits her perfectly? Why can’t the Fairy Godmother make the spell last longer than four hours? And why is the king so determined for his son to get married just so he can have grandchildren?
Also, what happened to Lucifer the cat?

Cinderella
Cinderella is one of Disney’s most timeless classics and a story I’ll never get tired of. I love how, despite everything she goes through, she never loses her kindness, hope or belief that life can get better. The Fairy Godmother brings one of the most magical moments in Disney, reminding us that sometimes a little bit of magic can change everything. From the unforgettable music to the iconic transformation and the glass slipper, every part of this film feels special. It’s a beautiful reminder that kindness, courage and believing in yourself can lead to the happiest of endings.
