Cinderella

Such a timeless piece! Great family movie for every one of the ages.

Put it on to fall asleep to and then I ended up watching the whole thing. A classic and brings me back to my youth 😁

I love the story of Cinderella and the ugly stepsisters, but so much of this plot was the mice and evil cat. It also sidesteps the obvious themes of abuse. Missed opportunity for Disney as well as some weaker songs.

I forgot how much charm is in this movie (pun intended). The animation is gorgeous, the music is magical and the Lady Tremaine is mesmerising to watch. Although I find Cinderella quite a bland character, the supporting cast makes up for it.
