Interesting footage but better off watching the Chernobyl series

jesus. fucking. christ. insanely gut wrenching. gruesome. violently nauseating. watched this directly after chernobyl, watching the LIVE tapes from the events was so much more impactful and distressing. the genetic mutations in children and animals was genuinely appalling.

On the one hand, it got a bunch of “new” footage and interviews out, on the other, the reason it hasn’t been used before is because it’s not very compelling to watch.

Wild footage they have of Chernobyl - before, during, and after the disaster. I particularly enjoyed this because I loved the HBO miniseries so you’ll definitely dig this if you were into that and want to learn more. Warning, 95% subtitled so be ready to pay attention
