this is prbly the hottest boring shit i've ever seen, meaning everyone looked hot af but jesus was this awful 😆 the music choices were a bit crazy, & there were interesting & some pretty amazing camera angles. but what is this even abt??

Literally on the edge of my seat for the last 15 minutes of the movie

Sexy and chaotic, not at all what I was expecting. A exploration of deeply flawed characters and what drives their needs & desires. Some fun cinematography in this especially in the technical tennis scenes & stellar performances.

7.7 - Wanted to buy the hype but I’m underwhelmed. The endless club beat score was good but wore me down. The cinematography was fun, then got dizzying. The uneven build & realization of the sexually charged moments cheapened the narrative. Toes style over substance too often.

"Challengers" serves an intense drama led by three incredible performances. This is probably the most well written film I have seen all year. The film is stylish, sexy, fast-paced, and intricately told. It had me captivated from beginning to end, kept me on my toes, and left me speechless! 10/10

One of the worst films I’ve seen in a long time.

It was like the director or editor just found out what slow motion was (they over used it big time).
Acting was average,
Too many flashbacks made it very slow
The ending was unclear and irritating.

As a tennis player, this was hard to watch. I really hope this was meant to be a joke or satire. The amount of slow mo and music mixing was awkward. Love Zendaya, but everything else was a flop tbh

It was decent but definitely overhyped — the story is super basic with a pretty lazy abrupt ending however I was hooked during the final moments.

You can see a lot of plot beats coming ahead of time and most of the music placement feels weird even though I know they are trying to replicate how Zendaya’s character sees everything and connects it with the rush and feel of tennis

The trailers hyped Zendaya up but this movie is really about the relationship between the two friends and it becomes apparent very quickly — as Zendaya’s character phrases it she is purely the homewrecker/antagonist of this love story

The amount of sexual tension between the two friends instantly reminded me of Brokeback Mountain

Overall i’d give it a 7/10

This will be crazy overhyped. No character development and the music killed the dialogue. Josh o Conner is the saving grace of this one tone film

It's truly never been more fun to watch three people be absolutely despicable to one another than in Guadagnino's tennis court love story. Never in my life have I cackled at such a tense few last minutes of a film, fidgeting in my seat, waiting for the bomb to drop.

HOT HOT HOT THAT WAS INSANELY GOOD ACTUALLY. WHAT A MOVIE. I WAS ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT.

This movie was alright. It jumps around in time a lot and the music mixing is pretty bad and awkward. Zendaya looks amazing as always and does a great job. Overall this was a better than a mid but not a huge like for me.

It wasn’t great. it felt very slow and the flashbacks were a bit long, especially the slow motion parts. Maybe my attention span is bad but it was boring.
I felt like this movie could’ve been a lot shorter. I couldn’t imagine watching this in theaters I’m glad I didn’t.
Overall I’d give it like a 4/10.

entertaining, and original - good plot but had some weird montagey scenes i couldve used less of. all characters were developed well enough. nice retro scenes of early 2000s.
