so annoyinggg, can’t even come close to the original movie, why cast carrie as the most generic looking teenage girl ever? literally insulting

Almost the same movie as the original, but without the creepy camera and sound work. Felt way less intense but still entertaining. I liked that Sue’s character felt a little more complex in this one though.

i’m giving this a love bc this is one of the only movies that i have been fully invested in, in such a long time. i watched the whole thing no phone. honestly really good i didn’t know what the movie was about going into it but i def would add to my summerween list

Haven’t seen the original but this version wasn’t really that interesting until the last 30ish minutes or so. Those last few scenes at the prom were great and had my full attention but rest of the movie was just okay imo

girly had every right to become a “villain” but in terms of horror movie it wasn’t that good, it was just a thriller

trashy remake with none of the originals charm 1/10

The story is great, I mean King is a master on that. But this film: cringe.
