I think this movie is overly hated and deeply underrated. I remember the feeling of empowerment when i watched it for the first time in theaters. I get the writing may have been off in some places but i think this movie is super important for women.

Id rather get hit by a semi truck then watch this again

okay, here me out. it’s a good movie and you gotta watch it so you understand her back story just like any other superhero.

We can all agree this just wasn’t a good movie, not as entertaining as everything else marvel releases. Great character addition to the mcu but that’s about it

This is more of a movie that adds information to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Especially about Nick Fury’s backstory and how he lost his eye and how S.H.I.E.L.D. came about. It’s a very classic Marvel movie but I was entertained nonetheless.

i liked the nick fury backstory, the cute alien kitty, the strong female friendship, the shapeshifter guys
it was a cool movie and an interesting origin story

i think it’s a little overhated. after she got full control of her powers it was actually really good. and the kitty definitely helps the rating.

not a boring watch but nothing compared to other marvel movies.
still enjoyed the watch.

Hot garbage

it took me three tries till i actually enjoyed this movie, the first two times i couldnt focus and kept getting bored, but the third time i watched it i was so entertained and actually liked it.

Captain Marvel has things going for it that elevate it a bit above the pack and provide more cultural oomph and important, but despite that, this is also a Marvel movie that feels like another Marvel movie.
