Very slow but very good.

Hoffman did a great job of making me hate Capote. A gutless man who only cared about his story and would do anything to get it.

Hoffman is brilliantly unique in this character role. Wild magnetism and very conflicted. Interesting period for this to play out in.

Interesting and engaging film about the making of the book in cold blood. This film proves that Philip Seymour Hoffman was one of the greatest and talented actors of all time.

Really interesting film. PSH is captivating. The whole cast is top notch. It unfolds slowly but is riveting nonetheless.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman was great in this. He became Capote. Gone too soon. Great actor.

I understand why he won the Oscar, but the other version of this film was better. In my opinion.

I’m also biased as I don’t particularly like Katherine Keener.

very slow, not an interesting story from Capotes perspective

The world really lost a great one with Hoffman, what talent and range he had. Movie is good but slightly slow in beginning. Overall very good.

Another fabulous PSH performance

None of this film is bad but the first half, while well written, is incredibly slow and a bit of a bore. The second half, however, picks up a lot and capitalizes on the potential. Hoffman’s Oscar-winning performance is incredible to experience.

Very good. A great performance from everyone involved, especially P.S.H.
