This actually ended up being better than I expected! I love both Wahlberg and Abdul-Mateen in pretty much any show/movie, so seeing them working together in this was pretty cool. Solid action, fun story, and some sick interrogation from Marky Mark 😮‍💨. I would recommend!

Pretty good, just thought the music choice was a bit off for some of it and the audio was super loud during some of the dialogue, could’ve just been at my movie theater though. The car chase scene was really good. I usually don’t like car chase scenes but this one was really good

An exciting and interesting historical investigative film that shines some light on the history of the South. Mark was great even with the ridiculous prosthetic. Yahya and Esposito were both really good too. Loved the internal fight against morals but wish they showed more of it. The middle of the film was slow and the ending was rushed. A lot of characters felt one dimensional besides the main cast. Overall an interesting watch with fun action but the story is missing the depth it deserves.

Solid movie, I like how heavily they leaned into the racism it made for great world building. Mark Whalberg was the star of the show his character brought so much life to this movie and was super funny.

I signed up cuz of the casting, the story started a bit slow but lowkey still kept me interested and actually was surprisingly engaging as a film throughout given the topics since I went in sorta blind. Overall a 7 out of 10. Hard to understand sometimes w out sub

Didn’t expect to enjoy this movie this much.
Was expecting an action movie but the detective work and relationship between the protagonist was awesome.

I’m also a sucker for characters losing the moral battle and this is a perfect example of that.

The commentary this movie makes on 1960’s South and segregation was actually pretty ambitious.

I only wish the dialogue was a little smoother, I think too much they tried to tell not show and it gave less satisfying scenes.

Mark was great even with the weird nose they gave him.

Very fun film, love the dynamic between the 2 main characters. My only issue with the film is how the film wraps up. Felt like it rushed to the ending very quickly. Nonetheless I really enjoyed the watch in theaters. Would recommend, 7.5/10
