Really solid thriller that gripped me throughout.  The famed car chase is indeed very good. Great writing and overall sense of realism. I enjoyed the procedural facet - following a trail of lies, piecing together the truth. Great performances, especially from McQueen.

I can’t tell you a single thing that happen other than some people got shot and there was a sick ass car chase that ended in an explosion

Chase scene is definitely sweet.

Good movies

Watched this with my mom because it was a film she liked when it first came out in the 60s.
Holy Toledo! Boring, dull and mind-numbing.
The acting is stoic and rigid; the “action” is as riveting as watching paint dry; and the music/score is nearly non-existent.
It may have been a classic then, but it does not hold up today.👎🏻👎🏻

Every car chase in every movie since Bullitt wishes they were this good. It’s also this movies only saving grace. The story it’s super strong, acting is kinda mid, and the other parts are kinda boring. But again, I put this on for that car chase. Dang!

Great performance by McQueen. A little slow paced and a very visual movie but good nonetheless.

About all I knew about this film is the infamous car chase scene. And man did that scene live up to the hype! The plot was a bit convoluted and sometimes hard to follow. I have to admit after everything I’ve heard I was expecting more. However, it is definitely an action classic.

What a freakin soundtrack! Amazing thriller that gives 2 great foot chases and an amazing car chase. My introduction to Steve McQueen couldn't have been any better

Benchmark for what a "vibes" movie should be. I don't have to understand the details, just let me enjoy the ride.

One of the best car films ever made. A car chase so good it rivals the chase in The French Connection. It’s light on story, it doesn’t need to be heavy on it, but the action is gripping. Over 10 minutes of no dialogue and pure action around the middle point. Excellent

A cinematic classic.

That car chase is honestly spectacular but that music is so damn smooth 😮‍💨
