There is a quietly persistent, simmering and incendiary flare to this film, which, by virtue of Knightley's knowing performance and the well-written script, feels tired and afraid.

7.2 - nothing ground breaking, very little stands out. But I enjoyed it. It does look great, and Knightley and Coon are solid. It looks great. The feminist lens and avoidance of shine to the suspected killers are refreshing. It’s a touch long but worth at least one watch.

it was okay, wouldn’t watch it again.

Super long movie but the story was well done and I liked Loretta and her friend a lot. Not the moves fault but I hate not knowing who did it lol.

Aaron claims we watched this like 3 times so in rating it meh bc I don’t remember so I feel like that says enough

To my surprise, this was actually pretty enjoyable. It’s amazing how the Boston Police Department absolutely botched the 13 cases associated with the Strangler Murders! Overall, this was a pretty good little thriller with a solid cast and intriguing subject matter.

A good serial killer slash mystery film.
We’re it’s from the journalist’s point of view and the film goes into some interesting theories about what if the guy who was named as the Boston Strangler wasn’t really the killer.

It was pretty good and story flows well. But I'll just say one thing: Keira Knightley with an American accent feels wrong.
