It’s just okay. The humor rarely stretches beyond sarcastic jabs between father and daughter, and the emotional beats land softly. Performances are fine, but the film lacks urgency, making the journey feel smaller than its premise promises.

I like kids movies. This was painful.

This was a cute movie. Both Elijah Wood and the little girl do a great job and have wonderful chemistry. It’s almost like two different movies and one, but it’s still enjoyable to watch.

This film was slow, but heartwarming, Implausable but I found myself enjoying it and came away feeling better than when I went in
