“The Searchers” meets “Wrong Turn” is the best way to describe this one. Although both pail in comparison, Bone Tomahawk hits all the right notes in this Western Thriller. Great characters, classic story, and a deeply intensifying plot arc. This one doesn’t get enough praise.

Maybe kind of racist but a fun watch!

8.1/10 Went into it with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Probably the most gruesome and brutal movie I’ve seen but the acting and characters carried it. Haven’t seen horror Westerns that much and there wasn’t much “horror” but still very cool premise would recommend

Terribly written movie. Acting is odd and the entire film seems like its done in a 'spoof' like style. Desperately trying to be deep and nuanced but just falls short. The lack of music and back track is unsettling in a bad way. Only good part is the gore, but definitely not for all

I went into this movie completely blind and I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the story, the characters, and the dialogue, which is something I never say. This film has a fantastic cast, which surprises me how this is not talked about more!

Pretty decent, worth a watch if you’re bored. Compelling enough plot, not particularly unique, and had some pretty gruesome scenes

Keep me engaged the entire time, highlight guys dick almost got blown off

A pretty straightforward screenplay executed really well

Good blending of genres to make a surprising and gut wrenching experience.

It's very well made, and there are some gnarly scenes here, but it's just too long, man. Some westerns work and some don't for me. This is just okay for 1 time watch

relatively tame for most of its runtime, but the violent moments can be truly disgusting with impressive effects. strong performances and music with decent writing, a bit uneventful but atmospheric enough
