Was I the only one that thought it was too short?

Underwhelming and uninformative. A lot of music biopics feel fake, and this fits right in. The production felt good, same with the cinematography, but it's nothing great. The acting from Kingsly felt so put on it took me out of several scenes. The whole 'biopic' side was so unbalanced. It dragged out parts that don't add to his life and completely misses parts that do. The musical side to this was great because of Bob's songs. The dialogue and pacing match each other in the number of times I eye rolled. A letdown from the key parts I thought it needed but an adventure for the good few parts.

This very average biopic could’ve appeared on Netflix straight to streaming. Kingsley Bin-Adir was the one bright spot and the obvious choice for the role. Does not do the great revolutionary songwriter any justice. complicated, poorly, written, and overall forgettable.

tbh i just really didn’t understand it

Have always been a fan of Bob Marley since I was introduced to Three Little Birds when I was a kid which got me into his other songs in my high school years (lovee the Uprising album & No Woman, No Cry’s live version!!) but admittedly I kinda slacked on truly learning about what Marley was doing/did

I don’t know how truthful or accurate this movie is because somehow these biopics always mess something up or tell it another way but I loved every bit of this movie and its helped me see his music in bit of a different light

good acting snd good story

I had a great time with this biopic but I got to say that I was surprised when it ended because it didn’t feel long enough. Maybe it’s because the pacing was pretty quick throughout the movie but it just felt too short to me. Kingsley Ben-Adir absolutely crushes it in this role

Despite the negative reviews, I had a great time with this one. Kingsley Ben Adir is fantastic as Bob Marley and the songs and cinematography are great. One of my favorites of 2024 so far.

Kingsley killed his role. The pace of the movie seemed rather quick to me.The movie hit most of bobs popularized songs and quickly showed the meaning behind them. Also I don’t know if it was just the theatre volume/ speech pace but man I needed subtitles😂. 7.6/10

Was good but not to informative,I would have liked to see more about his life(family, band members,how they formed the band,the final concert etc).Kingsley acting was good but didn’t convince me 100%Plot felt rushed,especially the end and was allover the place.little disappointed

Music Biopics... they're an interesting thing. Their main purpose is to honor the artists life in movie form,
I think this amazing singer/songwriters life was captured well, with a few things holding it back from being truly great movie. 6.8/10.

I needed subtitles. Couldn’t understand 90% of the movie.
